Zürich, 2019
Along with a new patio, wildflower meadow, edible native hedges, and fruit trees, the old Baumeister House gained a bike shelter. Inspired by Japanese design, the Akira roof system features an elegant angled roof that stands out for both its form and function. A particularly impressive touch is the transformation of an old chestnut tree into a habitat tree, providing a home for wildlife and brought to life with a climbing rose. This design creates a beautiful contrast with the luxury apartments and brings a touch of nature into the city.
